FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Positioned within Sydney’s iconic Luna Park Sydney, we’re busting our seams with fun! If you’re looking to attend or have tickets to an upcoming show check out the FAQ's below.

We host all kinds of events at the Big Top Sydney; while most of our events are Over 18’s, some events have specific age restrictions and relevant Terms & Conditions. Always consult the event webpage on the venue’s website for the applicable information per event.

What is an "Acceptable Forms of Identification"?

Please note that unless the show specifies "all ages", you must be 18 years or over and will be required to show proof of age.
In accordance with Liquor Regulations, the only acceptable forms of proof of age at the Big Top Sydney are:

    - CURRENT Australian Photo Drivers License

    - (International drivers licenses are not accepted)

    - CURRENT Passport

    - Service NSW Proof of Age Card

If I have lost my ID can I still attend an event?

For Ages 18+ events, one of the (3) ‘Acceptable Form of Identification’ (listed above) is required. No Identification means no entry. If you have lost or misplaced your ‘Acceptable Form of Identification’ we suggest you contact one of these agencies to request an express replacement.

‘Babes in Arms’ Policy

For All Ages events, where babies are permitted entry, the age for free admission is subject to promoter approval. Always consult the event webpage on our venue website to understand what the promoter has elected for the upcoming show you are attending.

Events for 'Children 12 Years & Under'

For any show where children are attending, as per the Terms & Conditions of Sale any child under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult (18 years or over). For Reserved Seated events, the accompanying adult must be seated next to the child and stay with them for the duration of the event.

Events for 'Under 18’s & All Ages Events?

Whilst we host many Under 18 / All Ages events please give some consideration as to whether the environment is right for them. Some performers may have content and/or lyrics which you may consider inappropriate for children and as a licensed event alcohol will be available to patrons 18 years and older in restricted licensed areas of the venue.
