The Next Step

The Next Step is BOLD, INNOVATIVE, FRESH and GUARANTEED to IMPRESS.

The Next Step is the creation of brothers Jason (who also moonlights as a Tap Dog) and Kris Lewis.  "Do everything on instinct, be very confident, don't ever underestimate yourself" said Jason Lewis, Co-Creator The Next Step.

After SOLD OUT shows at The Metro Theatre, Sydney in 2008, The Next Step are bringing their new show to the Big Top at Luna Park Saturday 21 November, 2009.

This all male group of young performers will set the stage on fire with their unique fusion of hip-hop, tap and break dancing.   A live band and the groups' exclusive vocalists perform The Next Step's original score.  The musicians and dancers fuse together to create a mesmerising show.  It's street and stage, dance and music at its finest.

From humble beginnings in the Lewis brother's garage, The Next Step has exploded into a phenomenal, action packed, high energy show performed by an amazingly talented cast.

The Next Step has performed on the MTV Awards, Splendour in the Grass, The Helpmann Awards alongside Sir Elton John and Mornings with Kerri-Anne.

The Next Step has rightfully earned a reputation for cutting edge performance, and finely honed talent.  Comprising of artists from Dein Perry's "Tap Dogs" and contestants featured in the Top 20 of "So You Think You Can Dance", The Next Step rivals any International group.

The Next Step will be releasing their EP in October, which will feature three tracks and three music videos including their debut single "Do It On The Dance Floor".

The show is suitable for all ages and is high voltage, fun entertainment that is sure to leave you short of breath.

" By the beat of their feet, these boys mix up a cool sound!" Sydney Morning Herald
"I can guarantee you will have the best night out, EVER!" Dance Train 08
"Watching the show is inspiring and refreshing.  They are unbeaten in their field" The Daily Telegraph
"The eye is drawn to movement everywhere" Sydney Morning Herald
