Optus Rogue Traders Under 18's Soundcheck

Optus announced today it will bring some of Australia’s most popular music tours directly to the Australian youth market starting with Australia’s favourite electro pop rockers the Rogue Traders.

The Rogue Traders kick off their Australian tour in April and the Optus Rogue Traders Under 18's Soundcheck initiative will give young Aussie fans aged from 14 to 17 the chance to see Australia’s favourite band in a fun and safe environment as they warm up for their national tour.

“These shows will give young fans the opportunity to experience live music in a safe environment especially designed for them.

“This is also an example of Optus’ ongoing commitment to regional Australia, with our first band the Rogue Traders taking part in this initiative in areas like Tweed Heads, Newcastle and Coffs Harbour,” said Michael Smith, Optus Consumer Group Marketing Director.

Most live music events are traditionally designed for an older demographic meaning younger audiences sometimes miss out. Optus Rogue Traders Under 18's Soundcheck will allow younger audiences to see their music idols up close and personal and give them the opportunity to ask the band questions and win a chance to meet them face to face.

The Optus Rogue Traders Under 18s Soundcheck is an event strictly for 14-17 year olds (unless otherwise stated). Optus and its Promoters will ensure each soundcheck event adheres to specific security requirements to ensure the safety of its customers.
