Goldfrapp will play headline shows this winter - warming up for Splendour in the Grass with a performance at Sydney’s Big Top at Luna Park.

Goldfrapp burst back onto our airwaves this summer with roller-disco perfect Rocket, the lead single taken from the band’s brilliant fifth album Head First, released last month through EMI.

With every atmospheric electro album Goldfrapp has released, fans have been swept up on a trip through changing musical landscapes, each album offering a reinvention, a diverse musical approach from the previous.

Debuting in 2000 with their critically acclaimed Mercury Music Prize nominated Felt Mountain, albums Black Cherry, Supernature and Seventh Tree followed.

The elegant, lush brooding of Seventh Tree has shifted making way for the optimistic, electronic bright colours of the 1980s-esque, synthesizer styling Head First offers.

As their latest single Alive hits radio, surrender in the blissful delights of Goldfrapp live.
